Terms of Service

Effective 2026-01-01 (Edit before launch)

1. What this service is

Bank Shutdown Rescue ("the Service") is a self-help information and document-organization tool for consumers in the United States dealing with bank or credit-card account closures. The Service provides decision-support checklists, calendaring, letter templates, and tracking ledgers. The Service is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and is not a substitute for an attorney. No attorney-client relationship is created by using the Service.

2. No outcome guarantees

The Service does not guarantee any particular outcome — including account reinstatement, release of funds, recovery of rewards balances, or any response from your bank. Bank-specific timelines referenced in the Service (redemption windows, review cadences, disbursement periods) are community-reported patterns unless explicitly marked as official, and may not apply to your situation. Always verify with official sources.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, for reviewing every letter before sending it, and for deciding whether and how to contact your bank, a regulator, or an attorney. The Service does not contact banks or regulators on your behalf and never files complaints for you.

4. Purchases; one case kit per purchase

The case kit is a one-time purchase of $29 per case, processed by Stripe. A purchase grants one kit credit, which is consumed when you create one case. Free features (the risk self-check and the triage preview) are provided without charge. See the Refund Policy for refund terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service: no automated scraping, no attempting to access other users' cases, no submitting unlawful content, and no using letter templates to make false statements to any bank or regulator.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and the operator's aggregate liability arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Governing law & operator

These terms are governed by the laws of United States. The Service is operated by Bank Shutdown Rescue LLC (Edit before launch), 123 Placeholder St, Suite 100, City, ST 00000, USA (Edit before launch).
